Comfort after loss
Jace’s Embrace Boxes offer tangible care and remind grieving families that their babies matter and their loss deserves recognition.
Our work. Our purpose. Our impact.
In honor of Jace Alexander, Jace’s Journey turns lived experience into action. We support families after pregnancy and infant loss, equip community health workers and doulas, and bring maternal and infant health education into our communities.
Support after loss Community trainingJace’s Embrace Boxes
After pregnancy or infant loss, families can feel unseen at a time when they need care most. Through donated Jace’s Embrace Boxes, we offer comfort, acknowledge their grief, and honor the love they carry for their babies.
Our work connects compassion with practical support. A donated box acknowledges a family’s grief. A training creates space to practice advocacy and supportive conversations. A community gathering helps families connect with others who understand.
Jace’s Embrace Boxes offer tangible care and remind grieving families that their babies matter and their loss deserves recognition.
Training gives community health workers and doulas opportunities to strengthen how they share information, support self-advocacy, and connect families with resources.
Our workshops, gatherings, and advocacy create space to talk about stillbirth prevention, disparities, and compassionate support after loss.
Comfort items offer small moments of care during an overwhelming time. A personal message acknowledges the baby and the family’s experience. Connections to resources offer a next step when families are ready to seek support.
Every box is an expression of community care: someone remembers, someone cares, and the family does not have to navigate grief alone.
Donations and volunteer time help us purchase supplies, assemble boxes, and make this support available to grieving families.
Our work includes sending boxes to families and donating boxes through care partners, extending compassion into homes and the settings where families receive care.

Training community health workers & doulas
Community health workers and doulas help bridge the space between families, information, and care. Through our Bridging the Gap training, Jace’s Journey brings lived experience and practical education together to support their work.
Explore maternal and infant health disparities, stillbirth awareness, and the importance of listening to families’ questions and concerns.
Use scenarios and discussion to strengthen conversations about informed choices, respectful care, and helping families speak up.
Discuss compassionate support and ways to connect families with relevant education, resources, and community programs.
Why this work matters: Training reaches beyond the classroom. Community health workers and doulas can carry these tools into their conversations with families, creating more opportunities for informed choices, connection, and compassionate support.
We use discussion, scenarios, and pre- and post-training questions to support learning and identify opportunities to strengthen our sessions.

Together, these efforts advance our mission to address disparities in maternal and infant health through education, advocacy, and community engagement.
